Proud!

This afternoon I feel so proud to be Georgia's mom. She has such a sweet spirit and brings great joy and delight--even momentarily--to whomever she meets. And she's out to meet them all, it seems.

Today we went to the park for pre-nap play. She was thrilled to see all the dogs playing in the dog park, though the fence didn't convince her she was safe when they came to check her out.

As we walked along the path, she veered off to go visit a couple sitting at a picnic table, then on to run after a stroller and a baby who needed his checks rubbed apparently, and finally joined a family of boys playing soccer.

She never fails to give a grin when spoken to and looks people in the eyes and acknowledges them. Even in her curiousity about what might be different about them, she has love in her eyes and no judgment. We all need to be looked at that way. She radiates happiness and I am so proud to watch her be her and scatter smiles.
