11 Months

Today I woke up and looked at my boy. I thought, "This is his boy face. This is the face he's gonna keep!" It's a handsome little countenance.

Judah is now 11 months old. It now takes three hands for Georgia to count old "how many months Judah is." She confirmed with me today that he is one-one months.  I am excited to celebrate his first birthday soon. He'll have many, but this truly seems like a milestone. We're planning on having a Lion themed party since he is our fearless little Lion!

Judah is fully a walker and attempts a hurried little walk that resembles first efforts at running. He is quick up the stairs and is working out the getting turned over and scooting down on the tummy. We had some time on our hands at Opryland Hotel the last day of vacation and a big Southern staircase to practice this skill. He prefers what we call the "booty scoot" to the edge of the stair and then dropping down to the step below. But this takes a lot of repeating and he gets impatient and does some crazy dangerous moves that get his whisked off the steps.

He pushes his sister in her car, or his car, or gets behind a big person and tries to push them toward what he wants. There is a lot of "eh, eh" and pointing to get his wants across.

We bought our last two cans of formula at Sam's Club. And some sippees for his transition away from bottles. He's wearing size 4 diapers, 18 month clothes, and size 4 shoes. Big puppy dog!
