Babes in Costume

Is anything more ridiculous or adorable than babies in costumes?! Here is Lily the Crab, Ellery the Bumblebee, Jackson the Pumpkin, and Georgia the Ladybug. As you have likely already imagined, they stayed in costume just long enough to get pictures. I was impressed with how the other babies tolerated the head coverings. That was my one stipulation on costume when my aunt wanted to get Georgia's costume because Baby Girl does not like things on her head.

It was so wonderful to see the babies and moms--it has been about two months. As the oldest baby by a few weeks, the usual joke is what skill Georgia has that the other babies need to observe and learn. In fact, she was voted Most Likely to Succeed from the "class."

She is the only forward crawler and at times appeared anti-social as she was off doing her own thing instead of sitting and playing. She also assisted Kat in exploring her main floor and showing her what will need to be put up higher or packed away from Ellery very soon!

We also got to visit with midwife Lauren who is expecting a February baby and meet Kat and Lauren's parents visiting from Florida. We are eager to meet this baby--and two other 2009 babes joining our extended family!!!
