That's the sound.......of silence!

BOTH kiddos down for naps. At the SAME TIME!!!! That, my friends, is the beautiful sound of silence.

Time is just carrying on. We've had a great couple of weeks mozying toward a schedule with Judah, reworking bedtime routine with Georgia, and getting holiday ready.

At this time last year we'd throw Georgia's little world into a new orbit by moving to Missouri and living with Grammy while Daddy returned to Oregon to work for another month. Thanksgiving was just strange faces for her, but by Christmas she was coming out of her shell and loved all the people in her new world!

This year she is much more aware of people and events. Which translates into a lot of eager anticipation and fun. I love that she's starting to make memories, some of which she might keep with her forever.

We got the Thanksgiving Little People set from the toy library and thus began her first history lesson. When she found out we'd be celebrating at Aunt Susie's house she was estatic and began asking, often, "Is it Thanksgiving now? NOW?"

We all had a fabulous time with my extended family of cousins and my cousins' kiddos. From oldest to youngest...14, 14, 13, 11, 10, 4, 2, and 2 months. To finish the night, we had a talent show and WOW are we all talented! The Gusys being no exception ; ) Georgia dressed up like a princess and ran up and down the aisle shouting, "Clap for MEEEEEEE! Clap for MEEEEEEE!" Noah twirled pens in BOTH hands at the same time, did his peacock call, and wore hats. I stood up and announced that my talent was making cute babies. And there was quite an enthusastic agreement!

We truly, truly, truly have so much to be thankful for. We are grateful to my mom for all the support she has given us this last year. We are so thankful Judah is here and thriving. We are so filled with hope that God has good things ahead for us, because He loves us!
