Georgia is 6 months old this week meaning she is 1/2 way to a birthday cake! We have completed her 6 month review and have decided to keep her as a Team Gusy member. Okay, actually how it went down was she presented us with her parental review and told us she was staying. Who are we to question her decision?
Her physical stats:
Two teeth....and usually engaged in her own wet t-shirt contest.
About 18 1/2 pounds...shy of doubling her birth weight by 6 months (but obviously not wasting away). A quick measurement says she's only grown 1/2 inch since 4 months, but we'll check into that next week at her check-up.
She's very strong--sitting up and standing up on her own if someone will just provide fingers for her to hang on to.
Figuring out how to get up on her knees to crawl and getting really frustrated when she makes a movement backwards instead of forward (can't you just picture us crawling around her to show her how....oh for sure you know we have).
Comb-over pieces of long hair to rival any man 100 times her age...however unlike those gentlemen she is getting a whole new head of hair. It looks like the fuzz I thought she'd have at birth and is much lighter than it was was at birth, though still dark brown.
She has repeated "hi" and says "hey" to get attention and says "ma-ma-ma-ma" when she gets upset. She has also started calling out to Daddy when he leaves the room which is super funny!
Several key people (namely family women) think she looks more like Uncle Chris than Daddy but for once people agree she has Mommy's eyes....a brown ring around the iris, then a blue ring, and then a blue-gray ring. And maybe her sass.
