Developmental Explosion

At her six month check up, the doc said Georgia was prime for a development explosion. We kind shrugged our shoulders like novice parents and thought if every day already brings something new, what would an explosion be? Now we get it! Crawling steps, dropping things and looking down for them, opening drawers, anticipating, imitating....babies are amazing!
The look on Noah's face in this picture is "Dear, why did you put the baby in a box?" Because it's funny! I had a similar look on my face when we went grocery shopping and he put her in the little car ahead of the cart. "Why are you making her grow up so fast?" Because she loves it! I'll admit, she enjoyed it once she figured it out and it is a good solution to her desire to sit backward in the shopping cart so she can see what's coming and not have to look around us at what we passed.
Chillin like a villian....enjoying her breakfast bottle while watching mama do her hair and put on her makeup before work. There are times I am sure she's going to be a tomboy, but she loves to watch the getting ready process.

Such a happy girl after a walk! The weather is changing and it's time to bundle up. She really doesn't like things on her head but she seems to understand a hood is good outside.
