Not for intended use

Nana and Opa will be surprised to find out we have off-label uses for their gifts...yes, we use things in ways they are not intended to be used.

First up: slippers. These were part of a fantastic Halloween package for Georgia, and though the holiday is over, these slippers are not. Intended use: keep the piggies warm. Our use: baby location monitors. Those pumpkins on top rattle and make it easy to keep track of this crawler.

Next: highchair. This beautiful wood highchair converts to a reading chair for later years and will provide a special seat for all Gusy babies. Intended use: feeding the baby. Our use: baby trap/photo op. Little Miss crawled her way under the bottom rung and got herself stuck. Yes....I let her stay there crying until I could fetch the camera for a picture. Don't report me!
