Meeting Santa

This is the story of visiting Santa...
All dressed up and now for the finishing touches.
Daddy tried very hard to get Georgia's shoes on.
Mama said, yes, they are tight. But they only have to last an hour.
Georgia decided she didn't want to wear shoes.
They are kind of like socks, and she doesn't like to wear those either.
Before we could see Santa, Georgia was wondering what we were waiting for.
Mama had a plan all worked out.
She would stand Georgia at Santa's feet and happily Georgia would
hang on to Santa's pants like she does with other people and then,
if things were going well, she would let Santa pick her up and set her on his lap.
Unfortunately she found Santa rather, eh, boring.
Not that she was crying, but she was looking off
and not at all fascinated by this jolly Santa.
Plan B: Let Georgia sit at Santa's feet and get a picture of them looking at each other.
Mama backs off. Georgia makes her sad face.
There will be no lap sitting or even sitting at Santa's feet.
Mama declines Santa's offer that she sit on his lap with Georgia.
Plan C: It becomes a family photo.
Georgia is wondering why that strange photographer
man is waving toys that make odd noises at her.
They don't make her smile. They weird her out!
